For my speech class i was asked to think of my earliest memory. I have a pretty good memory and remember much more of my childhood/life than most others do, but i have a problem confusing my very early memories with dreams. Most of my earliest memories are also just fragments, like certain looks or words my mom would give me, or even just feelings. Anyway, I settled on this as my earliest full and complete memory : When I was three years old I cut all of the hair off of my best friend Joey’s Simba doll. He was so mad that he told me the only way we could be friends again was if he got to cut my hair. I remember looking at his airplane lamp as he used safety scissors to cut all the hair off of the left side of my head. He left the right side long, I looked totally chic (the picture is obviously after the cut was professionally cleaned up). My mom was PISSED. Let me also mention we broke the VCR on the same day by jamming the case of some truck movie into because we couldn’t find the actual tape.
